![]() Lockport's Lincoln Landing dedication ceremony took place on February 12, 2009 in celebration of the Lincoln's bicentennial birthday. The Federal Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission recently designated Lockport’s Lincoln Landing as one of its officially endorsed historic sites. Lincoln Landing is a joint project of the Will County Historical Society and The Give Something Back Foundation. The centerpiece of the acre interactive park, on the old Illinois & Michigan Canal, is David Ostro's sculpture of Abraham Lincoln as a young Illinois legislator. We invite you to take advantage of this beautiful historic site to host your events: An application must be submitted and will be viewed on a case-by-case basis. Each case will be based on the number of attendees and the space needed to house the event. Non-profit organizations will not be charged for the use of Lincoln Landing. |
